Dear Backers,
We regret to inform you that due to ongoing development challenges and challenging retail market conditions, Four Horsemen Studios and Great Hall Games have decided not to continue their partnership. We fully understand the frustration expressed by the Mythic Legions community and Backers of Mythic Legions Tactics given the length of time it has taken to produce this game, and we sincerely apologize for not being able to bring this game to you as originally envisioned.
While video game publishers have been very interested in a Mythic Legions branded game, unfortunately, we have not been able to secure a long-term partnership that would allow for the continued ongoing care and maintenance that all games require. We have simply run out of time, and understandably, your patience.
To that end, in addition to all of the figures and digital releases we have released thus far, we will be releasing the game “as is” to all Backers and marking the crowdfunding campaigns as "Campaign Complete".
This release will include the following:
· Season 1 Full Storyline version of the game. The game will be as complete as we can make it at this time, but it will still be released in BETA form and you may encounter some bugs. But it is filled with action and very fun to play.
· Digital customizer with 5 races included with all Armor and Weapons unlocked
· 300+ levels of game play (3 Campaigns of 100+ each)
· All Classes and Skills are completely available to all Players
· PC, MAC, and Android versions will only be available
· Full 237 Page Digital Art Book

We recognize this is not delivering to the full extent of what was promised in the campaign. So, in addition to the final assets, we will also honor a refund to any Backer of either the Basic or Deluxe game who requests one. Only refunds for the game purchase itself will be given.
If you paid for a basic or deluxe version of the game and want to request a refund, please send an email to [email protected] with your name, the email you used to back the campaign or make the purchase (important), and your physical mailing address. Refunds will be mailed in the form of a check. The refund request window will be open from October 1st - November 1st 2025. You must email us your request on or before November 1st, 2025 to receive a refund. No refunds will be granted after this date.
Note: you must include the email you used for making a pledge to the campaign, as that is what we will use to verify your account purchase. In addition, if you can also include a screenshot or receipt of your purchase we can use that for verification.
While we wish we could have delivered a better experience and a full launch of a game, we wanted to at least give you the game we were able to complete and hope you enjoy it. We thank you for all your support and passion over the years during this process. It is much appreciated.

MLT BETA RELEASE IS HERE!

Hello Legionnaires!
We are pleased to announce the BETA release of Mythic Legions Tactics: War of the Aetherblade! If you backed the game and are due to receive BETA access, you will receive an email shortly with a downloadable code for the BETA build. Note the email will come from "Four Horsemen Studios" and is generated by Backer Kit. Please check your spam if you do not see it in your inbox.
BETA is PC compatible only. Once the build has been vetted and tested by users and we debug any issues, we will then adapt to Mac, IOS, Andriod, and XBOX platforms and release those to backers as well. Please use this link to provide feedback - MLT FEEDBACK FORM

Alpha Build Release!

Hello Legionnaires,
Thank you for your patience as we prepped the Alpha for release. If you backed the game, you will receive an email with the download access link. You will only need to download this 1 time as we will be pushing updates, additions, and fixes as automatic updates. Just be sure to log out and then back in every now & then. Like all Alphas, we are still tweaking some things and debugging, which is why we want to hear from you as you play through the levels.
Special Note: The Alpha is only available on PC at this time. This is common with many Alphas so the dev team can focus on a single platform for any changes/updates/fixes. Once we have a clean game, we will prep it for the other platforms. We have sent out Alpha access to all backers of the game - regardless of what platform you selected so that you can participate in the Alpha.
How To Play Instructions - The game tutorial has not been built into the game yet. So we included a link to a "How To" manual along with the game in the "Notes" section of the digital download. You will see this link in the instructions.
Feedback Form - There is also a feedback form with the link as well. Please send our dev team any comments or issues you encounter. Much appreciated!
Next steps are releasing the Digital Art Book (soon) and The BETA in January.

Digital Soundtrack Release and the march to LegionsCon 2024!

Hello Legionnaires!
We are getting close to the Alpha release, which is scheduled to debut at LegionsCon 2024! For those of you who backed the game, we will release the Alpha to you right before LegionsCon weekend. Right now, we are color correcting, sound mixing, finishing off the skills, and completing the battles. There are only ten left to finish off for Xylona's Flock!
We are pleased to announce the release of the official soundtrack for the game! Again, if you backed the game itself, you will receive a link to the soundtrack via Backerkit shortly. It's a great companion when customizing your figs, making social videos, or having a romantic Saturday night. Download and enjoy!
We're also finishing off the Goblin and Dwarf characters and will have them added to the Character Customizer soon. In the meantime, here are some still shots from the game (NOTE: the colors are not corrected and are coming off as "warm". This will be fixed for the Alpha).

Mythic Legions Tactics Roadmap to Alpha & Beta Release
Hello Legionnaires!
We have an exciting update on the roadmap to release that includes both the game itself and the other digital content you backed during the campaign. Thank you for your patience during this entire process, as we've had to navigate through some significant issues, but we are on a good path to have the single-story Alpha version of the game in your hands in time for Legions Con 2024 (mid-November).
Below is our content rollout schedule for the next few months. Please let us know if you have any questions, and we will be providing more timely updates in the coming months to keep you informed.

October - Release of the Mythic Legions Tactics Digital Art Book!
Explore the artistic vision for translating the popular toy line into a video game. Taking readers on a deep dive into the development of the world of Mythoss, the digital art book is filled with concept art of characters, weapons, armor, and both familiar and never seen before locations. Readers will get an exclusive look at the stunning artwork and early visual concept design that helped bring the iconic characters of Xylona’s Flock, Legion of Arethyr, Army of Leodysseus, and others to life. Backers who purchased this reward will be sent access to the downloadable art book via Backer Kit.
October - Release of the Mythic Legions Tactics Soundtrack!
All the music included in the game is now yours! Original music was composed exclusively for Mythic Legions Tactics by an industry-leading composer and live orchestra. Get all the feels of Mythoss as you explore the 30+ tracks that provide the background mood music for the game. Backers who purchased this reward will be sent access to the file via Backer Kit.
November - Alpha Release of the Single Player Storyline for Legions Con!
Be the first to play through the complete storyline of Xylona’s Flock as you race to hunt down Gorgo and the Legion of Arethyr army to win back the coveted Aetherblade before it reaches the Aetherhold! Customize your war party and begin your quest with 90+ battles, pre-rendered story scenes, and in-game animated story scenes. The Alpha stage will be PC only and mobile formatting will be done after Beta release. However, if you originally purchased the game for mobile, we will also grant you PC or Mac access. This reward will be distributed via Backer Kit.
January - Beta release of the Single Player Storyline!
New characters and new Legions added! Army of Leodysseus and Legion of Arethyr join the fray. Now, you can battle your way through Mythoss as a Legion of Light or a Legion of Dark to win the race for the Aetherblade and return the world to order (depending on your point of view of course). Battle count now reaches 270, along with full story scenes, new character classes and skills, and the added Dwarf lineage will be introduced!
The Beta stage will be PC only, as mobile formatting will be done after Beta release. However, if you originally purchased the game for mobile, we will also grant you PC or Mac access.
Following Beta release, we will work with a distribution partner to release the game to the mass audience. During this time, we will continue to add characters and other updates and format the game for mobile and XBox platforms. This reward will be distributed via Backer Kit.
Q1 2025 - Mobile and Xbox release
The mobile and platform release comes a bit later than desktop in case we need to make any adjustments in the Beta stage once people are playing through the levels as different Legions. Once we QC the Beta and it's ready, we will move to IOS/Android and XBox release.
