Hello Backers!

Welcome to summer! In this month's update, we will focus on the latest from our dev team, as well as the completion of our Forge and Kickstarter crowdfunding reward fulfillment. 

Update on Campaign Reward Fulfillment
Since mid-May our customer service team along with the Four Horsemen shipping department has been hard at work getting all the rewards out to Backers. We thank you for your patience and support during this process. We've been seeing some great photos on social so hope that everyone has been enjoying the amazing figures & other items!

IF YOU DID NOT RECEIVE YOUR REWARDS PLEASE READ! We still have a few outstanding accounts that have not either entered a shipping address or payment for their shipping. If you backed either the Forge or Kickstarter campaign and have not received your figures, we need you to email us immediately at [email protected]

We are past the July 1st deadline to collect rewards so we need to hear from you now in order to ensure you get them!

Combat Battle System Update
The dev has been working on the battle system and incorporating the many different skirmishes across multiple levels. We've been internally game testing and making tweaks along the way so that casual players can step right in and have fun battling their way through the world of Mythoss, but at the same time making sure we have an immersive gameplay experience for those players looking to go deep into the world.

Here's a look at a battle simulation with updated graphics that will give you a sense of the action-packed sequences that await you...

The devs are also working on adding armor, weapons, and accessories to each character type starting with Human and Orc and then moving on to Dwarf, Elf & Vampire. In this process, the devs add each piece of equipment to every character and then run them through a series of basic movements and attacks to make sure everything fits and moves naturally with the character and there are no glitches (such as a finger protruding from a glove). Given the high level of customization in Mythic Legions Tactics, it's taken a bit longer than the average time to complete this stage. But it will be worth it! Most orders are out the door and we've seen some great posts with the WOA figures! The Horsemen crushed it! Make sure you tag us @mythiclegionsgames with your figure posts.

We still have about 120 people who are either missing addresses or have not entered a payment method for their shipping. 

If you HAVE NOT received your product...or if your credit card has not been charged for shipping in the last 30 days...or if you HAVE NOT received a notice that your product is ready to ship, then guess what - this is you! 

Please go to www.backerkit.com ASAP and log in to update your information. (FYI if you never have used Backer Kit before we made you an account).

Mythic Legions Tactics - WOA Rewards Shipping Update

We wanted to give everyone an update on the shipping of the physical rewards (figures, maps, coins, etc.) from the Mythic Legions Tactics campaigns:

As you likely know, the team from Four Horsemen Studios is handling the shipping of these items, while we manage the payments and logistics. The shipping team has gotten about half of the orders sent out now, and they hope to have the bulk of the remaining orders which have paid for shipping sent out this coming week.

Regarding order issues – we do know that some fans received a wrong item (like a Female Elf instead of a Female Orc) or were missing items they believe they should have received (including signatures on their 2-pack set).  We will get these issues resolved. Once all orders have shipped, we will tackle these customer service issues. If you believe you have an issue, please email us at [email protected]. We are compiling a list of order issues so we can address them all at once. Please do not contact the 4H customer service email for issues specific to these Tactics figures. We will be the ones to help you out.

Regarding our customer service email, as expected we have been a bit bombarded with questions and emails the past few weeks and we’ve gotten a bit behind on those. Rest assured those have been received and we are adding resources as needed to ensure we get to all of them.

We know this hasn’t been the best experience for Backers, and we honestly feel horrible about that. We’ve put in a lot of work behind the scenes to do our best for loyal Legionnaires and new fans alike, and unfortunately, we’ve come up short of expectations.

We’re working hard to make sure we deliver a better experience for fans moving forward, and we will do what we can to fix any issues that have arisen so far.

WOA Shipping Charge Update - Let's Go!

Dear Backers,

The long wait for the War of the Aetherblade wave is almost over!

We know that you have been waiting patiently for its arrival, and we want to thank you for your continued support, communication, and understanding throughout this crowdfunding campaign. We know it’s been very different from the pre-order campaigns run directly by the Four Horsemen that many of you are used to.

We have some news to share on the shipping front and wanted to be transparent about the information. As you know the shipping delays have been quite a challenge, here's why... Two weeks after our freight was picked up and started making its way over to the US our fulfillment company, Funagain Games & Logistics, informed us that they were going out of business. They were an industry leader in helping small companies with an idea & a dream to fulfill Kickstarter campaigns. Those who frequently back Kickstarter campaigns might be familiar with them. Unfortunately, the repercussions of the pandemic had taken their toll. This was unexpected and has caused us some significant scrambling and unexpected costs that we've been working through to ensure your product arrives safely in your hands as soon as possible. It’s literally been ships, trains, and automobiles.

Thankfully, the Four Horsemen have stepped in to help us fulfill these orders, and we are incredibly grateful for their support.

We also understand that some of you have had questions about the shipping costs being different from typical shipments you receive from the Horsemen. We want to clarify the reason for this is that our backend order management and processing partner, BackerKit, calculates the end shipping costs differently than a typical retail storefront would. And, we do not have access to the same discounted rates that a high-volume retailer has. Although the Horsemen are helping us to ensure that your orders are delivered to you, we are unable to use their volume shipping discounts because we are on different backend systems. They have worked with us both logistically AND contributed financially to minimize the final shipping cost to you as much as possible.

Also, as typical in Kickstarter and other crowdfunding campaigns, the total shipping charges are included at the end to ensure backers pay the most accurate rate. If you remember from 2 years ago when we ran this campaign, global freight shipping costs were at record highs so luckily it has come back to a somewhat normal rate today.

As for the timeline, you should have already received an email from BackerKit letting you know the shipping amount that will be automatically charged. Once your card is validated, your order will be sent to Four Horsemen Studios to pack n ship. If your card was declined, or you have not entered a valid shipping address and phone number, please update now. 

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time, and we apologize for any frustration and inconvenience this may have caused. We know you're excited to receive your product, and we want to assure you that we are working very hard to get it to you as soon as possible.  Again, we can't thank the Horsemen enough for their continued support and help to ensure that their community is well served. They are truly awesome! We couldn't have done it without you, and we can't wait for you to experience the excitement and adventure of Mythic Legions Tactics: War of the Aetherblade.

Please continue to bear with us as we work with BackerKit to finalize the shipping costs and get this product out to you.
